The Women in Creative Industry Leadership Award celebrates women who lead, innovate, and inspire across creative sectors such as media, marketing, design, publishing, entertainment, and the arts. This award honours female leaders who are not only shaping the cultural landscape but also mentoring rising talent, advocating for representation, and pushing boundaries in their creative fields.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to women-identifying leaders in creative industries (advertising, film, publishing, design, performing arts, etc.)
Must have a leadership role (Creative Director, Head of Studio, Founder, Editor-in-Chief, Producer, etc.)
Minimum 5 years of experience in the creative sector
Must demonstrate original work, cultural impact, or team leadership
Judging Criteria
Creative Vision: Consistent delivery of original, high-quality, or genre-defining work
Industry Impact: Influence on trends, audiences, or culture
Leadership & Mentorship: Role in developing talent and leading diverse teams
Innovation: Pioneering new approaches, formats, or mediums
QUALITATIVE CRITERIA
Authentic storytelling or disruptive campaigns
Advocacy for gender equality and inclusion in creative fields
Cross-disciplinary or collaborative achievements
Recognised voice in cultural or industry movements
METRICS
Audience reach, publication circulation, campaign results, or viewership
Industry recognitions (awards, nominations, exhibitions)
Leadership of teams, studios, or agencies
Creative portfolio or showreel showcasing impact
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
Open to both freelance creatives and those working in organisations
Must demonstrate a legacy of impact, not just a single project
Peer or industry endorsements are highly encouraged
