The Rising Star Women Award recognises a young, high-potential woman who is making a strong impact early in her career. This award honours those who demonstrate clear ambition, innovation, and leadership potential in their field. These women may not yet hold senior titles, but their influence, achievements, and drive to break barriers set them apart as future leaders. The award aims to uplift emerging women professionals who inspire others and are already creating meaningful change.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to women-identifying professionals aged 21 to 35
Must have no more than 10 years of total work experience
Applicable across all sectors—tech, business, arts, science, education, etc.
Nominees can be individuals in entry to mid-level roles or entrepreneurs running early-stage ventures
Judging Criteria
Career Progression: Growth in responsibilities, promotions, or recognitions
Early Achievements: Tangible contributions to projects, businesses, or teams
Leadership Potential: Evidence of future leadership capacity
Initiative & Passion: Willingness to go above and beyond expectations
QUALITATIVE CRITERIA
Demonstrates a clear personal mission or purpose
Proactive in learning and taking ownership
Passionate about making a difference for women or underrepresented communities
Respected by peers and mentors for maturity and vision
METRICS
Awards or recognitions received (e.g., internal company awards)
Projects completed successfully or led
Public speaking engagements, media appearances, or published work
Measurable contributions to growth, efficiency, or innovation in her role
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
Cannot be a previous winner of this award
Nominee should not yet hold a Director, VP, or C-suite title
Active in her professional field for at least 2 years
